

Instead of letting our fear or worry cause us to contract and turn to old habit patterns of self-soothing, let negative emotions serve as an invitation to gain greater self-awareness. If we want to go deeper into our experience of life, fear is going to become a well-known companion on the journey and when we can become fully present, we can experience groundlessness.


Now that we’ve reached the end of the book, I thought it might be helpful to summarize some of the key learnings for those who have been curious about the book. My book club recently read When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times by Pema Chodron and had a great time discussing the book during our weekly live Zoom calls.
